About Me

I've always had a passion for the outdoors but I never intended for that love to progress into what it has. I've been blessed from a young age to see and experience the beauty California's wilderness has to offer whether that was camping under the Milky Way in the Eastern Sierra and Yosemite Valley, along the rocky coastal cliffs of Carlsbad and Big Sur, or simply hiking my local mountains of the San Bernardino National Forest and Sand to Snow National Monument.

In college I was able to take a film photography class where I learned the basic understanding of manually adjusting and using a camera, about Ansel Adams, and of the many methods that would lead me to my first decent photograph. I then took to capturing the scenery and wildlife I saw while on my hikes in order to better encourage my friends and family to join me. All of this eventually lead to my "addiction" of outdoor photography, exploring the wilderness, and the chase of the next great shot.

Now-a-days I spend my time hiking mountain peaks, photographing memories, and trying new and exciting things. I use a Sony a6000, a Canon 60D, and my GoPro to capture most of my photos but of course a phone is just as easily accessible now-a-days. I write this blog and upload my photography purely out of leisure and to help others enjoy what this beautiful planet has to offer. I hope you enjoy, and if this does lead you to decide to get out and explore, remember to treat the plants, animals and places you see with respect and in return you'll be rewarded with a full heart and life-long memories.

Happy Trails -
